CAMPBELL LABELS FOR EDUCATION: Please
help. We have a great opportunity to bank Campbell Labels
for Education upc codes. Campbell's will pay our postage
and do the counting. If you have any Campbell's products,
cut off the UPC and mail them to Cathi Venable, 3000
Ferncliff Rd., Charlotte 28211 or drop them in the soup can
located in the main office lobby on campus! The office is
open from 8 am to 4 PM Monday through Friday. WILL NEED BY
JULY 15th. One, Two or Ten, let's bank some points! Our
goal of 100,000 points will benefit all of our teachers and
students. We can place new DVD Players in the classrooms,
add to our audio visual equipment and more.

Summer Opportunity for Girls: WHAT:
Running Start encourages high school girls from across the
country to channel their leadership into politics.
Participants will meet extraordinary women leaders of
diverse backgrounds and learn the importance of having more
women in political leadership and running for office. WHO:
Open to all high school girls throughout the country
WHERE: American University, Washington D.C. WHEN: July
17-20, 2008 (APPLY NOW!!!) COST: The program is entirely
FREE of charge, and travel scholarships are available.

Congratulations Incoming IB Student Council
Officers!: President - Rachel Myrick, Vice
President - Catherine Hare, Secretary - David Nenon
President's Education Award: Many seniors
earned the distinction of being a President's Education
Award winner at the Senior Awards Program on May 22nd.
However, some of these seniors forgot to pick up their
certificates after the program. These certificates are in
the front office to be picked up until June 10th. Please
have your senior come by the front office to claim their
certificate. And congratulations again to these seniors for
